Month of Special Days
“Rabbit!” That’s what you say the first day of the month. I learned that from my Spanish teacher, but unfortunately, she always explained why in Spanish, and I never was advanced enough to understand!
February has lots of special days… Groundhog’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Presidents’ Day, Fastnacht Day, and Lilia’s Birthday at the very end!
I can’t believe January has gone by so fast. That means another year has gone by where I did not do holiday cards! I totally planned to do a Christmas card this year, and as I procrastinated, I changed that to New Year’s Card… and I procrastinated more, and now it’s February! We even had a photo picked out to use and everything!
Here it is, Happy Belated New Year, Everyone! The Year is Still New– 11 more months to go!
And one more picture for ya– we’re having Lilia’s third birthday party at my dad and Joan’s house again this year. I did a cute photo shoot of Lilia in her birthday cake hat, and Joe chose all these goofy pictures of her to use– turned out pretty cute!

I like the New Year’s card! For xmas next year you… er wait this year, you should just start them in the summer or fall or whenever you think of it. Update your address, address envelopes…etc. Unless you do photo cards then I don’t know how you would do it ahead of time.

WOW, both the New Years card and Bday card are just fabulous!!!! I’m also so jealous you got down for inauguration. That must have been so awesome to have been a part of that…

Too cute – love both the cards. Can’t believe Lil is three already, Seriously – it seems like you were just pregnant. Time flies!
