Saved from a landfill…
Tuesday, May 5th, 2009I made a big batch of roasted red pepper hummus the other day. I usually love hummus, but this was just okay. Joe really likes it though, and I made him two hummus wraps for a snack at work. Shortly after I waved goodbye to him, I noticed the wraps and an orange still on the table. I figured he wasn’t too far away, and would be very disappointed if he didn’t have them, so I ran around looking for my cell phone (never in the same place), and called him up. He rode back home with a Fisher Price Family Farm in his hand, and alerted me to a jackpot of Fisher Price Little People, just a few houses up, getting soaked by the endless rain while waiting for the garbage truck to come along and eat it. We brought it home, and I cleaned it all up. Can you believe this was all going to go to a landfill???
