Lili saw Doctor Meera today for her 2 month check up (a little off schedule). She had been to the office three other times, and each time she was weighed while wearing her diaper. Today, they told us to take her diaper off. She weighed 13 pounds 8.4 ounces. Quite a chubby little girl! But she probably lost a few ounces within seconds, because she peed all over daddy. (Incidently, he is still wearing the same T-shirt, since it has dried). He said she is in good company… Bono once peed on Joe too.

She had her vaccinations, cried, and then fell asleep on the drive home. She is still asleep in her carseat, and I’m not going to move her till she wakes up, which could be any second now.

I want to make a picture post, but that would require me organizing my pictures.
Here’s one Joe took while we were on Lili’s first Fairmount Park walk last week.

Our pediatrician called with Lili’s MRI results and said that Lili is fine. No need to worry about this sacral cleft anymore, no need to follow up, we are DONE!

I don’t know if I have this right, but it sounds like the MRI showed that while whatever they were scanning (was it just her spine?) was not abnormal, it was not the usual normal… it was a variation on normal. I told this to Joe and he said, hey, that’s just like us… I don’t know what that means, but it made me laugh.

I’ll get a little more detail at Lili’s check-up on Saturday.

I will have to post about Lili’s Big Day! Actually, we’ve had quite a few big days in the last week… I think a picture post is needed, but as today was a big day for Mommy as well, I am too pooped to do this tonight.
